Very poor service, they brought all appetizers almost at the same time. They charged us €4.50 for a sad plate of olives that is the minimum you get for free when you order an aperitif at any Spanish restaurant. They also charged almost €1 for any piece of bread ordered after the first round that comes included in the service charge. Our rice was so shallow in the paella dish that had all dried up and completely stuck to the pan (basically all the rice was like “socarrat” - see the picture I uploaded). The salad with tomatoes and smoked sardines had two lonely slivers of sardine. I even asked if they had forgotten to add them! The desserts were the best part of the entire meal.

Unfortunately, the location and atmosphere were the best parts of our evening.

Perhaps we ordered the wrong dish or sat for dinner at the wrong time.. but the quality of food and service deserved a low rating this time in all honesty.

After I conveyed that the dishes were fine and could have used improvement, I was bumped on the back of my head, and I suspect intentionally...

Fortunately, the area boasts plenty of other great choices for dining out.

Superb, had the Cochinillo and it's still the best cochinillo I've ever had.
We also has the paella Valenciana, it was delicious and the rice was perfect.
The staff treated us good.

As a retired professional chef and restaurant owner I have to take some responsibility for the disappointing evening
last night. Chefs NEVER eat out on a Saturday, but it was a special occasion and we were promised the best table for 2 when we booked.....which changed to the worst when we arrived? The main course was average at best, unseasoned, with BBQ'd lettuce left with untrimmed ends. The staff let themselves down as well as us. This has the potential to be, and should be by far the best restaurant in the area They can, and should do better.
