Beautiful spot, we did the short hike and were rewarded with stunning views the whole way. From boardwalk to forest and mountains in the distance and if course the beautiful waterfall. There is much to offer at the park, camping and lots of hiking. We only stopped in along our journey for the waterfall. Definitely worth the time in a beautiful part of the country.

The trail to the waterfall is very nice though I'm not sure I agree that it's as accessible as they claim it is.
We also went to the oldest fir tree which is a bit of a steep hike. Incredible views over the mountain range but I'm not sure I would recommend people just to go there for the tree.

One of the best falls / nature park to visit in winter and in summer..

Winter visit will give you an enthralling  experience where you have to walk across ~2km but with 4 feet or more snow covered forest to reach the falls. You will not regret your decision to walk all the way to reach and view the emerald, yes the falls will actually looks like an emerald in complete white background...

Summer visit will give altogether experience with lots green scenery. You can go to top of the mountain to see the lake and water stream. You will have much more fun. Summer trekking is very popular, though you will not see any deer in this nature park.

Fantastic place to visit in mid-summer around 4 am at the time raising sun lighting up waterfall and making rainbows. Parking is free and is well maintained. Trail is beautiful and safe. Difficult places covered by wood, makes it easy to go. There are nobody or almost nobody during this early time, you can enjoy birds, animals and nature sounds. Very recommended.

The national park is beautiful and well worth visiting. The drive up from Mora is easy as the roads are quiet, even during the busy summer holidays. There are plenty of well marked hiking trains and the trail to the water fall is well maintain and a relatively “easy” walk. It does get busy, so get there early. The car park fills up quickly and overflow parking stretches 2km down the road to the main parking.
