The local heritage museum in Åre is located near a small river, about 2 km from Åre. They prepare nice food and have a playground for children. We visited the place to learn more about historical buildings and craftsmanship. I would say that there is room for improvement in that regard. Anyway, it is worth visiting, but you won’t need more than an hour for the place.

Väldigt mysigt café med fantastisk personal och vackert beläget nära en fors. Fikat och maten är otroligt god och prisvärd. Deras tunnbröd är att dö för! Dessutom en fantastisk känsla att åka tillbaka i tiden på hembygdsgården med gammal inredning och traditionell tunnbrödsbakning.

Very cozy cafe with fantastic staff and beautifully located near a rapids. Coffee and the food is incredibly good and reasonably priced. Their flatbread is to die for! In addition, a fantastic feeling of going back in time at the homestead with old furnishings and traditional thin bread baking.

Urgoda tunnbröd med bl a god vegetarisk röra med bla sötpotatis, picklad rödlök. Även raw dammsugaren, toscakakan
var hur god som helst.

Yummy flat bread with, among other things, a good vegetarian mix with, among other things, sweet potatoes, pickled red onions. Also the raw vacuum cleaner, the tuscan cake
was as good as it gets.
