Large hotel above Åre with a nice view of Åre. We took some snacks and coffee, and sat on the “secret“ sun terrace on the first floor facing south west. The lazy guests can reach the hotel via the funicular that starts in Åre Centre and stops directly at the hotel, but there are as well hikes in the summer from Åre to the hotel, the walk takes about 25 minutes.

The hotel and it’s staff is very nice and they have a great relaxing-area with a pool and sauna. The breakfast-buffet has a great selection and the hotel is dog-friendly.

Big fan of this hotel, great food and après with lovely staff. Easy to get into the centre of Åre. I would advise paying more for a bigger room as the smaller ones are pretty tiny! Coming for a ski holiday was very easy however the hotel is only situated on Red slopes, fine for experienced skiers but some members of our group had to bus it back on the first few days. Not an issue but worth noting.

This hotel located exactly close the lift and at the heart of Åre skiresort, therefore from here you can access everywhere you want. The personnel are very good. Foods and drinks are perfect and have good quality. In summer times here you have a good view over the mountain and the lake. Visit here once and you will use to it very soon.
