Comfortable bed, nicely updated room and helpful staff. The hotel has a great view out onto lake Storsjön, convenient to the airport but a bit of a drive outside central Östersund city if that is your main destination. The breakfast was of good quality with many options.

One of the top ten hotels in Sweden!

Very nice hotel and excellent spa. The panorama windows offers a spectacular scenery over the lake and mountains. Excellent breakfast. Dinner was not as good as the rest of the hotel. Don't miss the outdoor pool in the winter. If you are lucky you can see the Aurora Borealis from the pool!

We arrived at this hotel under pouring rain and were greeted by a kind and efficient receptionist and a fake open fire. Rooms are really nice with excellent beds and a lot of soft pillows that allow you sleep through the night without dreams. There are lots of knobs to hang your little laundry on and even a theft-proof long shoe horn that you can buy at an unknown price in the reception in stead of stealing it from your room. We had dinner in their restaurant. I had an "entrecoté" that I wanted cooked blue, a condition unheard of by the young waiter and the cook who gave the excellent 300 g piece of meat 30 sec per side, afraid of serving it overcooked. Breakfast was also fine. Compared to other similar hotels that we have used during this trip, the hotel is rather pricey for what is offered. It's definitely off if you want to visit Östersund and do not have a car.

We stayed overnight, visited the spa, the restaurant and had a treatment. The spa is a real calm and soothing experience, the facial treatment was also excellent. The breakfast was quite good for a hotel breakfast, they offer a lot of healthy alternatives all around. Though the dinner left us wanting, it's quite expensive and the food we received wasn't near enough for a hungering stomach. We had a starter, main course and dessert but left thinking about ordering a burger from the bar. Overall a nice hotel with a focus on health, though the restaurant "kava" didn't quite reach the standard of the spa and the rooms.
