We had the pleasure of staying at the Arctic Bath for the last three nights and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is a very cozy place and we had a great time.

The attention to detail throughout the hotel is remarkable—from the branded plates to the stunning décor, everything added to the luxurious feel. We stayed in one of the water cabins and loved it. The room has plenty of space, an oven and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. There are even two deck chairs to enjoy the sun. Sadly it was quite windy the last few days so we did not really use it.

The spa was a dream, offering complete relaxation with two saunas and a steam bath. In the middle of the "birds nest", the actual hotel building, is a cold pool with the water of the river to cool down after taking a hot sauna.

A real highlight was the dinner on our third night. It was easily one of the best meals we've ever had, a 10+ course experience with exquisite presentation.

Overall, Arctic Bath is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

A beautiful river location with stunning views.  The spa, which included: saunas ( wet and dry ), a plunge pool, and hot tub was included and was a delight to use.  We spent hours doing the spa ritual.  The co Gerd products provided for bathing were top of the line.  Arctic bath’s attentive staff members were informative, helpful, and very kind.  We could not have asked for better hosts.
We pre-booked our meals through email. The food was perfectly prepared by their chefs.  The food was beautifully plated.  The desserts! The desserts were stunning in appearance and taste.  I don’t eat desserts typically, but I tasted these before my family devoured them.
We also booked our airport taxi through the hotel and we were picked up from and delivered to the airport by Lars, a very skilled driver, who answered all of my questions.  The town is a 1.4 km walk up the beautiful lane from the hotel.   The townspeople were also very informative and some were willing to chat.

In my 12 years of work experience, Arcic Bath is by far the best place I've worked. The team here isn’t just coworkers; they’ve become my closest friends. Our boss is amazing—young, energetic, and always positive, creating a supportive environment that inspires us all.

The management is approachable and consistently maintains a welcoming presence. The location and views are refreshing, truly uplifting our spirits.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone at Arcic Bath for making my time here so sweet. Unfortunately, I have to leave due to personal reasons, and it saddens me to say goodbye. I will always cherish the memories and friendships I've made here.

This place is unassumingly brilliant. I’ve been fortunate to stay at some amazing properties, and eat at some great restaurants. Arctic bath is about 1.2 hours by car from Luleå airport, but feels much more remote.

The spa:
Saunas, plunge pool, and jacuzzis are great
Massage and facial was excellent, using local products

The room/amenities:
Rooms are well appointed, spacious and “relaxing” as a description. The wifi is flawless if you need it.

Team/service:
A Google review doesn’t do this team justice. Warm, welcoming, helpful, and humble. Every member of the team is world class.

Where this hotel stands out though is the food. The menu, chef, and service rival that of at least a one star. The menu catered well for vegetarian, with local ingredients and beyond fresh. We did the longer course experience and the 3 course, both flawless and the kitchen team are a hidden talent!! Make sure you book in advance, and advise any dietary.

I visited in low season (summer) but the plunge pool was still cool enough after saunas! I’ll be booking to visit in winter as it would be a different experience with the snow and cold (not better just something new to experience!)

A place with incredible everything! A floating dream of a room and bath with pure and simple design with a luxurious feel a private deck and ladder into the river! Restaurant served exquisite artisanal locally sourced food and the drink pairings were perfect and interesting! The lovely spa includes several showers two dry saunas a steam room two jacuzzis and the awesome river plunge pool! All in all a total treat with a superb international staff ~ I highly recommend a visit to Arctic Bath and I hope to be back!
