Ate lobster with pasta which tasted divine, the garlic bread was melt in the mouth, this is real garlic bread.

Med Italienskt ursprung har jag funnit det svårt att hitta en genuin Italiensk restaurang som överträffar ens förväntningar, men wow Osteria da alfonso träffade alla. Härlig miljö med Italiensk mat i toppklass!

Jag är fortfarande förbluffad över att det inte finns en rätt på menyn som innehåller ansjovis/sardeller. Jag har ätit på allt från finkrogar till syltor i regionen och sardellerna finns överallt. Jag ser dem som en helt obligatorisk ingrediens om man som restaurang ska kunna hävda att man representerar det napoletanska köket på ett komplett sätt.

Jag är helt utled på alla försvenskningar av recept och matkultur, god mat, absolut, men tråkigt! Jag vill ha äkta napoletansk mat på en napoletansk restaurang. Jag äter, ärligt talat, hellre en halvbra genuin rätt än ännu en feg svenneversion. Men det är väl mig det är fel på, alla andra älskar ju den här "fusionmaten" (eller vad man ska kalla det).

Kan man inte få en riktigt puttanesca, snälla?

Edit: Tack till restaurangen för svar på min recension. Jag ser fram emot framtida besök och ber om ursäkt för att jag är en gnällspik. Jag har höjt mitt betyg på maten, den var mycket god och jag menade inte att Alfonso serverar svenneversioner av det napoletanska köket. Absolut inte! Det var mer en kritik mot företeelsen generellt.

Men jag saknar som sagt ansjovisen/sardellerna och ser fram emot den uppdaterade menyn (då kommer den sista stjärnan ;)!

I'm still amazed that there isn't a dish on the menu that includes anchovies/anchovies. I've eaten at everything from fine dining to jams in the region and the anchovies are everywhere. I see them as a completely mandatory ingredient if you, as a restaurant, are to be able to claim that you represent Neapolitan cuisine in a complete way.

I'm completely addicted to all the swedishization of recipes and food culture, good food, absolutely, but boring! I want authentic Neapolitan food in a Neapolitan restaurant. I'd rather eat a half-baked genuine dish than another cowardly bachelor version, frankly. But it's probably my fault, everyone else loves this "fusion food" (or whatever you want to call it).

Can't you have a real puttanesca, please?

Edit: Thanks to the restaurant for responding to my review. I look forward to future visits and apologize for being a whiner. I have raised my rating on the food, it was very good and I did not mean that Alfonso serves bachelor versions of Neapolitan cuisine. Absolutely not! It was more of a criticism of the phenomenon in general.

But as I said, I miss the anchovies/anchovies and look forward to the updated menu (then the last star will come ;)!

Otrolig autentisk upplevelse, maten var bättre än övriga italienska restauranger i Örebro utan tvekan, vilket man inte blir förvånad av eftersom personalen är riktiga italienare, uppenbart och fint visas det. Atmosfären får 4/5 då jag tycker att denna fantastiska matupplevelse hade förtjänat en lite finare ”matsal” att sitta i. Allt som allt 5/5, kommer hit igen.

Unbelievable authentic experience, the food was better than other Italian restaurants in Örebro without a doubt, which is not surprising because the staff are real Italians, it clearly and nicely shows it. The atmosphere gets 4/5 as I think this fantastic dining experience deserved a slightly nicer "dining room" to sit in. All in all 5/5, will come here again.
