Would give this five stars but had car window hit hard with a rock along with almost ten other cars in the parking lot next to the hotel.  All cars ended up with significant cracks.  This happened in middle of the day when I guess people were all at zoo/amusement park.  This one day alone would have justified cost of surveillance cameras on lot.  Hotel needs to do something here.

Otherwise, rooms are small but have excellent views of the water (well worth the premium for water side).  Breakfast buffet is excellent. Kolmarden is a beautifully done zoo and amusement park.

We visited with two nearly 4 year old kids. We booked the Kolmården package (one night at hotel, two days in the park). Breakfast buffet was also included and we ate the dinner at the hotel too. The hotel is extremely kid friendly regarding the premises and also the service and activities provided.

Just terrible food, at the hotel and especially in the park.
No AC in the room. Zero movable air. Just bad considering the price.
The views are great though!

Room is a bit small for 2 adults and 2 kids, but it can be compensated with the fantastic view from balcony. It is a cozy experience to have dinner with the view, not to mention food itself is in high quality as well. There is also a swimming and spa inside the hotel. Best place to stay while visiting Kolmården zoo.

Great views. Mediocre at best on every other account. Restaurant food is very bad, drinks are very bad. Beds uncomfortable. Rooms small. Would not return or recommend to anyone.
