The potential is there to be a great hotel but unfortunately the service isn’t what it should be. There is no initiative from the personnel to assist if you have a question or needs. The rooms are nice with a great view. Unfortunately there was club music until 3.30am.
The first night we had a dinner at Papas restaurant included in our stay. Food was great but again service not so much. Took 50 min for us to get served our drinks and restaurant wasn’t half full.
Second night we had dinner at hotel. This time great service by Simon our waiter but food was not up to par. Couple next to us complaints were not received well.
Like I said great potential but someone needs to address the service.
Side note - no coffee / tea available in rooms which was a disappointment as well.

I believe that I am not highly demanding but when I arrived at the hotel and achieved open the door (if you do not have a cellular with roaming is a real problem because NOBODY will be there to receive you)
My shoes were sticking to the floor and the same situation happened inside the room
The bathroom was always flooded when I took a shower
The soap does not exist, it’s a dispenser with a white cream for hair and body ( I was not able to know what it was)
The hotel is very well located but nothing justify the quality offered
It’s so so expensive and the level of service is nothing

It is the second visit for my husband and I and this time we had a room in the main building which I think is a must- gives a much better experience than having to walk across the car park in your bathrobe.

The hotel rooftop pool is the most relaxing place on a cold autumn day. The spa itself is a bit dated and could have more options but I think they may be renovating it soon.

The staff are all very friendly and if you are looking for a relaxing weekend away this is a great choice!

My fourth time coming here, and it is just as nice as always. Clean rooms, lovely staff, quick service, and impeccable sleep.

The spa is good, with different options and very quiet. It is never over crowded, which makes the experience so much better.

I would definitely recommend if you prefer, a quiet, nice and relaxing vacation or weekend. The guests are primarily adults, which is a big bonus.

We have been at Skansen many times. Two hours from Copenhagen. The hotel is nice and the service is great. The good has been reviewed in a separate post. Do remember to walk along the coastline in the morning, great begin of the day. Only problem are the beds, they are way to soft and actually bumpy.
