Had dinner with my sambo and his family here. It is such a popular restaurant that it was fully booked by the time it was 630pm. That makes the dining experience there to be quite a social and rowdy atmosphere. Not a “quiet” or “cosy” spot but it’s no fault of theirs. It’s popular for its meat fondue which came with 7 different sauces to dip the meat in. I had my eye on the reindeer steak so I had that and wow, what a delightful meal it was!

Stole a few fries from my sambo and it was so good. If I understand correctly, the meat and fries can be topped up so you could eat to your heart’s delight! The salad bar is available for those who ordered a main. Came with garlic bread as well which was heavenly. The Irish coffee we had at the end of the meal was delicious too.

I can’t fault the reindeer steak at all. It was absolutely one of the best things I’ve eaten in Sweden, bar none. I let the pictures of the food speak for themselves. Can’t wait to be back again, perhaps at an earlier timing, to beat the dinner rush crowd.

We were a big group and we got to wait a bit longer which is understandable. The style of the restaurant as I’ve understood it was French but they have Swedish food and serve Spanish wine which breaks the theme a bit. The two servants were a bit disorganized and didn’t know who ordered what. They asked how the food tasted but wouldn’t take away dishes or bottles. The planksteak was served on a desk that was really bent which made it difficult to eat it without spilling. The burger wasn’t not very impressive. There is a sallad bar included in the price which is appreciated. Unfortunately the air in the room felt stuffy and it was really warm inside.

My friend always brings me to this place whenever I come to Malmö to visit. It is a great place in central Malmö where you can really eat until you're full at great value. Their meat fondue is simply put amazing for its price point and the sauces and fries are very tasty to boot.

The one big drawback to this is that if you are 4 people sharing the same fondue pot, all of the sticks will inevitably get tangled together and it can become quite messy trying to get your meat out between all the sticks. I hope this is a problem they want to try to solve some time down the line as it is quite disruptive to the meal.

Something else to keep in mind is that sometimes the staff can be quite busy between tables which can make it very difficult to get refills on meat and fries when you want it. Perhaps this is a conscious part of the system, but it would be nice if either the bowls are a bit bigger to begin with or if it could be easier to get refills.

I would probably end on a 4.5 stars if I could, but since only whole numbers are allowed I think 5 stars is more fair than 4.

Great fondue 🫕 but for god's sake be careful who you ask to. We asked to a tall guy for a refill of the meat and a glass of water, and we waited for 40 minutes. Then we asked AGAIN to the woman and she brought it in 2 minutes.

Fondue is amazing! The beef had no fat or hard bones left over so it was just to cook then eat. You get eight different sauce and I guarantee you will like at least half of them. The sauce is amazing when combining with the newly cooked meat. The service was great and was standing by to satisfy your needs, they come by and offer to refill your meat or fries. However a little miss that the refill fries had no spices on them. Beer is however overpriced and there's no place to hang your coat. Atmosphere is also great. 4.5 stars.
