We had a great dinner at BISe.

Food is on spot and delicious. Some good surprises and lovely flavor combinations. No wine was available without sulfites, pity.

The entrance seating is relaxed and easygoing. The backside restaurant feels a bit stiff and inflexible with tables and chairs.

We love the attention to fresh flowers at the tables and plants on the windows.

Some attention to detail is missing: cable management for the lamps over the table, half cleaned glass doors for the wine cabinet,  a bit random vases on the tables. But all in all nice to explore the characters of BISe.

They merged the bar with the restaurant, but if you go for afterwork drinks, they insisit quite a lot about getting the night menu. The cocktails are really good, as well as the dishes we tried.

Fantastic European/Mediterranean food and wine in a laid-back atmosphere. We had a three meal course where the highlights were a steamed hake with baked fennel and a mussel sauce and also the dessert with fresh strawberries, elderflower foam, vanilla ice cream and a rye-crumb.

This place seems to be busy most nights, which comes as a surprise as the food is (IMO) only decent and that the price to value ratio is quite poor.

Cheapest drinks are well over 100kr so there seems to be some sort of vibe premium despite there being a better vibe elsewhere.

Excellent meal. Great service and very good food without being pretentious. It’s obviously a little expensive, but the value is quite good considering the portion sizes and quality of ingredients.
