Disappointing experience with incorrect charges and poor customer service

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Prior to the check-out i received a message via Whatsapp from the Hotel offering a service to transport to the airport, the reception confirmed that this service was included in the stay and would be free of charge. However, I was charged nearly €40 for this service, which was not properly communicated.

When I tried to resolve the issue with management, I was treated arrogantly and disrespectfully. The management claimed it was a “misunderstanding” but took no responsibility for the mistake. Even after insisting on a refund, the response was negative, with an offer of a 50% discount on a future stay – which is completely unacceptable as the issue should have been resolved immediately, and this way they’ll end up gaining more money.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of transparency and the indifferent attitude of management are unacceptable.

Good hotel for a stay in Stockholm. Very nice and calm location at the sea and close to the ferry terminal where you can take ferrys to the the City Center. Rooms are well equipped and big, the staff was okay and breakfast was good although in other hotels in the same price category the breakfast buffet is more diverse (for example there was no hot milk or no cakes and only two types of cheese and no vegan options at all (besides Hummus))

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and informative, the area is peaceful and quiet with very beautiful views. The room was clean, comfortable and had an antique style but had everything needed. Definitely recommend for a relaxing stay.

We were visiting Sweden and spend couple of night in Hotel J, which was at a convenient place considering out trip. The Hotel is by the ocean side and has a nice modern outlook with a one older building being part of the complex. Every room seems to have this small balcony, except the bigger room at the fifth floor at the upper building. The rooms were really nice and clean and the breakfast bar was filled with different options and everything was tasty. The staff was really friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Though the cleaners seemed to be maybe a bit too eager to come and clean our room on our second day. :D
Still I would recommend Hotel J, if your visiting Stockholm. The public transportation is easy to navigate and busses arrive often. The next time I'm visiting Sweden and need to be around Nacka Strand, I will certainly visit Hotel J once again.

What a beautiful hotel with breathtaking views. Definitely reserve/book a room with oceanview and watch the cruise ships roll by! Rooms are nice, the shower one of the strongest I have ever had. Highlight is the breakfast in a historic building. Nothing left to be desired. We highly recommend the Hotel J
