We really enjoyed the Viking museum, and it’s great to see that the staff are clearly passionate about what they do. The technology they use in the museum so you can choose what to explore is fantastic and we loved the huge hneftafl board and tour ride! We had lots of fun, takes about an hour and a half to take everything in and there is a restaurant and gift shop at the end.

Nice little museum with a surprising "ride' at the exit. Was more wordy than expected but lots of information if you take the time to read everything. They also do a quick tour which is really a guide talking about the history. Worth a listen since it changes it up from reading everything and easier to ask questions. The ride at the exit was pretty surprising and worth doing. It's about 10 minutes and it's a story about a family living during that time represented through various vignettes.

Overall it was a nice experience. There are guided tours in the museum which you can have in both English and Swedish depending on the session. What I most enjoyed was the ride at the end of the museum. It was a well-made ride and great experience for us. Please note that the ride might be really simulating for children under 3 years of age.

It was not a huge museum, but the quality of artifacts along with posted information and the free tour we're really outstanding. You may have to wait for the English tour if you come around lunch. Don't miss this opportunity if you're in the area. The gift shop is excellent as well. Save a little time for lunch, there are several very good restaurants in the immediate area.

A small but very nice museum. I recommend taking a guide. The exhibition tells about the life of the Vikings. When you go down to the basement with the train, you can watch a movie about the Viking family. I really liked the museum.
