The concept is quite simple: a vintage cinema with an intimate atmosphere created by a limited number of seats, where people can enjoy dining or drinking while watching mostly niche movies. The tables are designed for two people, and in keeping with Swedish transparency culture, all prices and food options can be found on the website without any unexpected surprises!
Four stars because I wish all movies were in swedish and more vintage! “Inside out” and hottie Ryan gosling in “the fall guy” don’t alight well with capitol’s concept in my opinion, but cash is cash I guess

Great atmosphere and cinema experience. Only 3 stars due to the ridiculous high prices for any of the snacks that was available to order. I would have loved to order something to eat but after looking at the offering and its prices I just couldn’t convince myself to do it. Afterwards I went more or less next door to a bistro and got a warm lunch, cooked when ordered, for less than the very small cold cheese platter at Capitol. Honestly not sure why I should visit this place again since the whole idea is that you can eat/drink while watching.

It was a nice space but the only place you can actually eat food in is the sofa section, the menu doesn’t really have a big selection of foods. The pizza from what I saw is too small, we didn’t end up dining there since we thought you could eat in any seat but it turns out no. The tickets for two people (in normal seats) were 500 SEK with no food included so you have to buy snacks if you want. The cinema was small and I thought that was cute. Overall the experience is good for one time but not really sure if I would go back.
