Super impeccable service from A team in the Portuguese consulate. They went over and above their duties to help me out. Something we don't often get in Sweden where service is always just to satisfaction. We'll done!

We needed to go to the embassy to apply for a visa for Portugal and Diogo Marto was very patient and helped us organize our visa application paperwork! I wish everyone who works dealing with people was as patient and helpful as he is!

I've had to deal with the consulate section for various matters and can say that the service has been fantastic. Most especially one member of staff (lady) has always been extremely helpful and kind. They prefer that people email instead of phoning and I guess that's related to them being very busy and the services being understaffed. There are some negative reviews on here, but I can only speak from personal experience. Carry on the great work!!

I have spent roughly half of my life in Portugal, and since I am not Portuguese I have applied for quite a lot of Visas to travel to Portugal and I have never been treated as bad as the woman who works at the Portuguese Embassy in Stockholm. Even on our first contact by phone she was just plain rude. I happened to have lost my residence card for Portugal outside while I was in Sweden and she kept on screaming on my ear that I couldn't do that, as if I would lose my residence card on purpose. Besides that, she went further on making my process of obtaining the visa as hard as possible which included influencing her boss by email. Later when her boss  emailed me, her email to him came accidentally "forwarded". I am sorry for anyone that will ever have to deal with this person regarding obtaining a Visa to Portugal.
