We ordered Pork Chop Tonkatsu and Miso Grilled Salmon at GOMA Gastropub in Stockholm. The salmon was very flavorful and tender, while the pork chop was good too, but I preferred the salmon because of its interesting flavors. For dessert, we had Vanilla Ice Cream and Matcha & Mango Kakigori, which was a great way to end the meal with the right portion. The staff were friendly and always gave good explanations about the dishes.

“Absolutely amazing Japanese fusion experience! 🍣🔥 The shrimp tempura 🍤 was perfectly crispy and light, with a delicate crunch that paired beautifully with the dipping sauce. The pork 🐖 was tender and packed with rich flavors, cooked to perfection. But the real standout was the tuna taco 🌮🐟—so fresh, vibrant, and bursting with umami! Every bite was a perfect balance of texture and flavor. Can’t wait to come back! 😭

The food here was Lagom, nothing special as an Asian fusion place in Stockholm. What killed our appetite was the stink from the marble table. We were sitting at a table made of marble, the waiter wiped it for us and it started smelling like rotten wipe cloth that was soaked in dirty water. The stink was so strong that we couldn’t ignore it, so we asked the waiter for cleaning up again, yet unfortunately the smell was still there. We had to ask the waiter for another table, and he was really nice, gave us a new table (which was wooden) and apologized multiple times. However this really made us question the hygiene of this place.
The truffle dumplings were really greasy, the grease dripped a thick layer from the bottom onto the place, but the flavors were pretty good. The deep fried crab cake had very weak scent of crabs. The caramelized glazed salmon was pleasant, the sauce offered a balance of acidity and sweetness, and the texture of the fish meat was tender enough. Unfortunately I couldn’t taste miso from the miso cheesecake, but the sake marinated cherries were delicious.

Oh well, the food was super super delicious. Loved the small bites. Tasted so super good. Drinks were super awesome too. Loved the vibe and food. Except that waiting time was too long. This happened as an exception for us coz we wanted to see glutten free options which were not updated on their online menu. Hence we were forced to wait to order and it took very long time for them to tell us and everything. But then they compensated very well with some free extra bite.
They have karaoke too. Overall great vibe

Way too small portions for the price tag. Like waaay too small. Example: When ordering scallops as in plural, we didn't expect there to only be a single one for each person. The tiniest one you could find. And that counted as one whole dish. Crazy. Not worth your money. But the drinks and server was good.
Even the rice was a disappointment, not even cooked long enough to be soft. Everything about the food felt rushed and cheap.
