A well-designed steak house in the heart of Stockholm. The location is close to the central station and you can easily take a bus or commuter train or subway.

When I stepped in, I become quite happy to see the inviting huge bar and the smile of the welcoming waitress who showed us to our reserved table.

The interior is pleasant, modern and homely. This together with the background music, lighting, decoration, gadgets and color patterns creates a calm atmosphere.

For starters, I ordered Fried Cauliflower and for the main course Steak Fries.  Both were delicious and I enjoyed every bite. Kind and professional staff handled small misunderstandings in an elegant way.

Definitely worth visiting several times.

Visited with colleagues and we were all very impressed with the food - tasty, cooked and seasoned well, with great portion sizes.
Staff were attentive.
My only negative comment would be that the low hanging lampshades aren't conducive to cross-table conversation.

I went to Griffins a few years back and it was very good. However, when we went again today, the food was subpar.  I had the tuna tartar.  It was nothing special.  Then I had the sirloin steak (Uruguay). It had no flavor and a bit overcooked.
The service was good but the food had gone down hill.  Something must have changed for the worse.

We came at a busy time and were seated at a perfect little table overlooking the kitchen pass. We started with some amazing off-menu cocktails recommended by the bartender, followed by a barrage of insanely tasty and tender food. My mother, who is not easily impressed (she always has something to say), declared that the meal was outstanding and that she’d never tasted chicken quite so tender and flavorful. My dad and I enjoyed two different cuts of steak, both of which spoke for themselves. The chips were light yet insanely flavorful, and we were full by the end of the pot. We even had to have dessert!

The food was delicious! I was overjoyed to have a perfectly prepared 1/2 Farm Chicken. It has been difficult to find chicken breast while in Stockholm and this made up for any lack in the city. It was so good I thought of going back today! The haricot verts were delicious and my friend really enjoyed her mushroom risotto. The miso carrots I wouldn’t order again. Too much miso with no real direction of other tastes. The corn was too spicy for my friend (I don’t eat corn). The fries were thoroughly enjoyed by my friend’s daughter. I gave the food 5 ⭐️’s because everything that was good was amazing! And memorable.

The service was very slow and the waiter who ended up serving us seemed annoyed with my onion allergy (I can’t help it 🙄 and I too wish I didn’t have this allergy). Most people I have encountered while abroad have been very understanding and kind, so this was a disappointment. He did seem to “come around” a bit but I will just say I have regularly had far better.

The drinks were outstanding the bartender was very kind and quick to bring us our drinks. I had the tajin margarita without the tajin 😊 and it was SO yummy. My friend had a gin and tonic and said it was solid.

The ambiance is really nice and well thought out. I love the entrance! I would definitely go back just to have that chicken again!
