We go to this restaurant a couple of times per year in the past. But this is the first time visit in 2024. The fish soup was so salty, and possibly they have changed their chef. The other dishes were also not how they used to be, lack of flavor or too much salt.

Actually an overall good experience. Had lunch with a friend and we both ordered the seafood soup. The serving with the chef coming out was quite nice and we were offered to have a free refill. Unusual to have such hospitable vibe so hence the 5 stars. Plus staff was very attentive.

Love coming to Grodan! Don’t get discouraged by the initial atmosphere. Usually places in these parts of Stockholm might give you a form of “stuck up” form of service, but not here!
The service personal are great, friendly and very knowledgeable.

My tip is to go in and sit in the lounge part. Order some starters or why not my favourite, Råraka.
A workers classic with a fancy twist.
Top tip is to get the vegetarian one and add some slices of bacon! Sweet, salt and sour.

Sure, the prices are a bit on the high end but you will be sitting with the rest of Stockholm and not all of the turists!

We came to Grodan because our group wanted to have a seafood pasta and it was not easy to find a Swedish restaurant that serves pasta. Thankfully, Grodan was serving an amazing pasta with seafood. It was tasty and had a big portion. Meatballs were nice as well but the meatballs could have been bigger to make them more juicy I think. The service was top notch!!
