What a gem of hotel this is, super cozy, comfortable rooms and staff are absolutely fantastic. As a Swede living abroad I love coming back to my hometown being a tourist, the location is as good as it gets, walking distance from all my favourite areas and also 1 min walk to the tube and a few minutes walk down to the commuter ferry to Djurgården.

Last but not least, their breakfast is a must.

We’ll definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel and its location and highly recommend it with one caveat: the room/bathroom situation was a little weird. With they being said, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We’ve traveled a lot in Europe and are used small hotel rooms and with old buildings, you have to be clever about space. We dubbed the bathroom the poop cube since it was a cube, with a toilet, shower with collapsible glass walls, a very small sink, and it was set up like the Tardis from Doctor Who with glass from about mid chest up.

The bed was large and very comfortable and took up most of the room.

Staff/service was fantastic. The location is perfect since it’s right by the Slussen Station (we could see it from our room), and the Slussen  ferry stop was a very short walk away.

Breakfast at the hotel was wonderful.  Lots of options and available from 6:30-11 every morning.  We loved the cappuccinos on tap!

There’s a small bar and you can enjoy drinks outside as well.

We stayed here 6 nights and we were comfortable and look forward to  staying here again even with the poop cube.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Frantz, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a picturesque location, this boutique hotel not only boasts stunning views but also offers an unparalleled level of customer service that truly sets it apart.
Exceptional Customer Service
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure my check-in process was smooth and efficient. They took the time to provide me with a detailed overview of the hotel amenities and even recommended local attractions that enhanced my stay. Throughout my visit, every staff member I encountered was attentive, friendly, and eager to assist. It felt as though they were genuinely invested in making my stay memorable.
A Breakfast to Remember
One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast experience. The Hotel Frantz offers an elaborate breakfast buffet that caters to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. From freshly baked pastries and artisanal breads to a selection of seasonal fruits and gourmet cheeses, there was something for everyone.
The highlight for me was the iPad generated hot beverages and homemade bacon, eggs, and pancakes Additionally, the pancake bar featured a variety of toppings, including berries, whipped cream, and maple syrup—an absolute treat!
The dining area itself was beautifully decorated with a wine cellar further in the building creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests could relax and enjoy their meals. The attentive waitstaff ensured that water cups were never empty and that every need was promptly met.
Conclusion
Overall, my stay at The Hotel Frantz exceeded all expectations. With its exceptional customer service and an amazing breakfast spread that left me looking forward to each morning, I can confidently say this hotel is a gem. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend for an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Franz. The hotel's rooms and decor are stunning, with comfortable beds and pillows that made our stay enjoyable. Our only issues were the lack of drawers or storage space for clothes and the tub/shower, which was hard and uncomfortable to use—likely more of a European standard that we weren't used to coming from the USA. The hotel staff was incredible, with everyone being very friendly. We particularly enjoyed the bar area; the woman bartender made amazing drinks. I'm still missing the breakfast, which offered a variety of options for everyone. The location is great, close to everything, and we walked almost everywhere. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone!

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Hilda and the rest of the team are the absolute best. The bar - adorable and delicious. The restaurant - insanely good. The breakfast - lovely and thoughtfully curated (honestly my favorite hotel breakfast I’ve had). Beds - so so comfortable. Quiet room - yes. My only suggestion is to ask to be booked on a lower floor if you don’t/can’t handle steps, this hotel has no elevator. We will 100% stay here again.
