I recently visited Lao Lao in Stockholm and was thoroughly impressed with their food. Despite the portions looking small at first glance, they were more than sufficient, especially with the extra rice provided. I tried the lunch menu with tofu, and it was delicious. The flavors were authentic and satisfying. I'm definitely planning to return soon. Highly recommended!

The staff was highly efficient in delivering orders, cleaning, and clearing tables.

However, the seating arrangement was quite cramped, which detracted from the overall dining comfort. The second floor had poor airflow, making it stuffy and uncomfortable.

The food was served in small portions. While the steamed rice was self-serviced and free-flowing, we were disappointed by its quality—it was overcooked, burnt, and dry. The meat cuts were tough, and the dishes were excessively salty and oily, relying heavily on strong seasonings for flavor.

We also ordered a pot of Jasmine tea. Although the pot was charming, the tea itself had only a faint hint of Jasmine.

One of my favorite restaurants in Stockholm! Their food is pretty affordable and the portions are big. The staff is really accommodating and friendly. You order at the cashier as you enter and then grab a table. The staff will bring you your food when it's ready. White rice, water, and sauces are self-service. the space is small and tightly packed. They have a decent amount of tables across 2 levels. The Beijing duck crepes were my favorite. Their small plates are also a crowd favorite, 2 or 3 is more than enough for a very filling meal. If you are unable to finish, you can request a to go container to take the rest home. I would go here multiple times per week if I lived in Stockholm!

Loved the food, but if you're in a rush it might not be the best. We had 20+ minute wait time which means about an hour for the lunch.
