We had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at this lovely Swedish restaurant, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The Swedish meatballs were absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The traditional marinated herring in red onion sauce was another highlight, with its excellent balance of flavors showcasing authentic Swedish cuisine at its finest.

The service was just as impressive as the food. The waiter (or perhaps the owner) was kind and attentive, making sure we felt welcome throughout our visit. He was particularly thoughtful with my nephew, creating a warm and family-friendly atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot to experience authentic Swedish flavors for lunch, this restaurant is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

A excellent restaurant, Not far from the Royal Palace, this is the place if you want the best Kottbullar (Meatballs) in Stockholm. The meatballs I had were lovely,With a creamy mash potato's, cucumber and lingonberrys and for afters I had  apple crumble with a vanilla sauce ,Delicious.
The staff were so welcoming, nice and so friendly. And reasonably priced.
I didn't reserve my table but to be on the safe side maybe it's worth considering.
I recommend this restaurant.

We had an amazing evening here! The food was extremely delicious and the portions were of good size. The restaurant is cozy and the service was sweet & courteous.

Lilla Gästabud is a true gem and definitely made it on our list of must-visits whenever we are in Stockholm.

After being refused by all nearby restaurants, this one welcomed us with open arms even though they were already limited in space.
Food was delicious, we had the raw marinated salmon, the Swedish meatballs and the pork cheek stew. All was delicious in generous portions.
Desert also was worth it!
Special mention to the owner (don't know if it was him) who welcomed us tonight.
