If you want to find cheap fruit markets you should go to the suburbs - the Hötorget one is however as good as it gets in central Stockholm. You get the best prices around closing hours - especially on Saturdays. I actually find the flower 🌺 stands to be much better than the fruit and vegetable stands. So if you're in the search for a nice bouquet 💐 it's worth a visit. Don't forget to bargain the price. On Sundays there's a different kind of market that I don't know so much about.

I love this market! I go here everytime I visit Stockholm city! It is expensive compare to my hometown market but it is fresh. If you come here in middle of the week you can buy boquetflowers for half price!!! Beautiful flowers! Also come here before closing if ypöou want good prices👍 Bad part is that some of the sellers yell to much at you, to come and buy from them... I don't like that part. I always buy their flowers, there are big bouquets and small and good price!

Beware the fruit-sellers' scam here.
I went to buy raspberries from a fruit stall, "Isa Yalcinkaya". The price attached to the tubs said just "39,90.-"
They bagged them up.  They then indicated that I should hand them my credit card and they swipe it for me (they were behind the racks of fruit). As they were not wearing masks and I did not want to get close to them, I did so.
I had to ask them to give me the receipt as it was not offered.  When the fruit and receipt came back it said 100.- had been charged.  I immediately questioned this and was told that it was the rate per 100 grams, which was neither indicated on their signs nor mentioned. They resisted many requests for a refund until I yelled out “police” quite loudly. Unfortunately there were no officers around. They then abused me as they processed a refund.  When I tried to take a picture of their licence one of the employees covered it with his hand and refused to move until, again, I threatened to call the police.
The manager of Hötorget, one Mr Samples, told me to report the incident to the people who manage small business, lots[at]stockholm.se but they just told me to contact the general Swedish consumer complaints organisation, which is clearly pointless.  Both of the above needed multiple email prods to reply. Clearly no-one in Stockholm is interested in responding or cleaning up these sort of scams despite the cost to their city's reputation.
