A really nice spot for lunch directly in the Östermalms Saluhall (market hall with lots of stuff from seafood to cheese) in Stockholm. The food was great (Danish smörrebröd), the service was absolutely ok and you can eat while watching the people doing their shopping....
The little wait for a table on a Saturday was absolutely worth it - we had a good time there!

I had a lovely view of the Matire d' showing an American Telephonist to a seat on my partner's lap from my seat in the coatrack.

The food was above average, but the overall experience was stressful due to inattentive wait staff and overcrowded seating. I'd recommend you order takeaway to improve the experience sevenfold.

Decided on this stall/Resto after walking the Market Hall. Very good cold smoked salmon,  cheese smörrebröds on a dense bread and wine. Sat in the Market cafe, also has a dining room and assume outside seating in summer

Stopped here for lunch after looking around the food hall. I had a beer and the Roast Beef Smørrebrød which came with Danish remoulade, pickled cucumber, horseradish, tomato, & deep-fried onion. The beer was nice and light, food was very tasty and filling. The presentation was great and a good sized portion. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
