They have GOOD bakery and dessert here.
As for meal today, too bad .... The  duck is very dry, and tough - dehydrated 😞 like has been in fridge for a while. The omelette was OK. Good cheese, but a bit oily and not much flavor from the dried tomatoes. Also, the salad was clearly old with brown edges on all the leafs.

We took the oignons soupe, too much white wine in it, and the cheese on top that there’s usually is in the French recept wasn’t present. But the bread was very good !

Croissant was nice BUT, I can see that the dough hasn’t risen enough as the middle wasn’t well layered. Not enough butter in my opinion.

The quiche Loraine was nice, maybe a pinch of salt was missing.

We also tried the canelé. Let me tell you something 🤌🏼 the canelé should have one ingredient mainly: RUM and that was missing as-well, and it should be a bit more cooked inside. although the right copper tool was used to do it so that was good 😊

Shout out for being the only place in Stockholm making pain au chocolats right (and not like croissants with different shape and some chocolate)! 😋 Thanks for making the hunt for them worth it! 🫶

I have been to Petite France regularly over the past 10 years. Unfortunately, their standard has been gradually declining. Today they did not meet our expectations, poor service, tables outside not clean and the coffee was blend. However, the food was pretty solid. This place really needs new energy and some overall renovation.

Our favorite place for pastries in Stockholm.  My wife and I would regularly stop here on our Sunday afternoon walk around the city while we lived in Stockholm for 2 years.  It was a must on our return trip after a year away.  Just a block away from the water on the south side of Kungsholmen.
