Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was a pleasant stay. Hotel staff was really friendly. We were accommodated in top floor (18th) with a beautiful panoramic view. Room were spacious and tidy, with TV, electric kettle & tea, fridge.. Some minor adjustments  - like newer towels and bedsheets, greater bath tub/shower water isolation - could help to upgrade experience of staying in Scandic Talk, but in general it was great. Clean towels, clean floors, emptied bins - every day.
Great assortment of breakfast.
Location is also great. Nothing to see around, but train station and big grocery shop was like within 5mins walk. You can reach central station within 6minutes ride.
I would definitely stay here again once in Stockholm.

The staff were nice, location is convenient. However, the rooms aren’t clean, and bed sheets mostly likely won’t be changed during your stay or dare I say in between of stays. I did catch bed bugs in this hotel, something that quite obviously caused me a lot of stress. Avoid this place and look for other options around.

While close to the train station there is really nothing around this hotel but the conference center.

You also need to request housekeeping services the day before. The hotel recommended making a breakfast appointment which was not needed for our stay.

Oh boy.
First the good: the location is good, it is convenient to get there with a train both from Arlanda airport and from Stockholm city centre. The morning buffet was nothing to complain about. The staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. There is a big food store (Willy') 5 minute walk away.

But then...
For €167 for a standard room I would have expected slightly more, as I have stayed for a lot less in much better equipped room. I would have expected a water kettle and perhaps some tea packages and a refrigerator in the room, but there were none.

The room was heated/ventilated by a central ventilation system which was really noisy (at least for me) at night and I was absolutely unable to sleep well. The control panel on the wall did  nothing, it didn't turn off when pressing "on/off" button, and also it was impossible to regulate temperature, the numbers just jumped back to "auto" value immediately. It became too cold at night and it was impossible to turn up the temperature.

The batteries in the TV remote control expired in 03/2020 (4 years and 9 months ago when writing this review), and were produced in 02/2013. I guess the expiration date on the battery is there for some good reason and apparently there is no procedure in the hotel to keep track of batteries' expiration or change them at all after every couple of years.

Room cleaning had to be ordered, which is fine. It was stated in the service description that rooms are tidied daily between 9 A.M. and 16 P.M, if I remember correctly. I was in my room at around 11 A.M. and in the bathroom, when I heard a knock on the door and a couple of seconds later, without having enough time to react, the door just opened and the cleaning staff, seeing me just standing there, asked if I wanted the room cleaned. This is a very peculiar procedure, I kind of expected that when the room is occupied, there is some kind of feature that either disables opening the door from outside for the cleaning staff or at least gives some indication to them that the keycard slot is activated from the inside. I have never had such thing happening ever before. Do I have to start physically locking the door from the inside every time I am in the room or put "do not disturb" sign out all the time?

Since it was my first time in Sweden, I have no idea whether the overall experience compared to other Swedish hotels was adequate or not, but compared to other countries and hotels I have been to, this was definitely a subpar experience.

Business hotel on top of the Stockholmsmässan. Price medium-high expecially during the events period.
Room clean and confortable. Private bathroom. Great breakfast.
Close to the commute train station, just 15min to Stockholm central station.
