Easily accessible by bus from Stockholm, this spa is a marvel: breathtaking view (especially from the sauna), free snacks, a lounge to relax... Nils is very friendly and welcoming (and speaks English!). I will definitely be back there

We arrived by bus and saw a small sign for the Nils Bastu Spa. Didn’t look very inviting from the street. We went up a very steep driveway and came to a kind of backyard, a lot of things were lying around. We didn’t see anybody so we went around the house. An asien looking little boy opend the door but didn’t understand us. Nothing seemed to be prepared for us. The the father came out, wearing nothing than underpants. He showed us the way to our cabin for the night. The cabin was ok, but without flowing water. The toilet is an outdoor toilet next to the cabin and for a shower we had to enter the family house and use their bathroom which wasn’t really clean. The Spa itself is really nice with a great view. But the wife startet cleaning the conservatory and the Terrace when we were sitting in the whirlpool. The promised fruits were just some apples and oranges in the fridge, not a nice fruit plate or anything. Breakfast was scrambled eggs with bacon and one slice of bread.
So in total we can say the spa is good but all around was a bit of a mess and you should not stay overnight. Best thing was the small landing stage at the water to take a swim. It’s across the street with a small steep path through the forest.

Magisk utsikt,snabbt värme i bastu med citron doft. Det går välja doft. Shampan smakar i jaquzzi  romantisk.Vi har grillad korv i en liten grill men finns stor också. Stuga liten men har mjuk stor säng.Snäll,trevligt ägare och så gott frukost. Tack!

Magical view, quick heat in sauna with lemon scent. You can choose a scent. The champagne tastes romantic in the jacuzzi. We have grilled sausages in a small grill, but a large one is also available. Cottage small but has a soft large bed. Kind, pleasant owner and such a good breakfast. Thanks!

Fantastiskt trevligt ställe. Utsikten är magisk, att sitta i bubbelbadet och bastun med den utsikten är underbart, verkligen ro för själen.
Vi blev tillfrågade vad vi önskade till frukost och det vi serverades överträffade verkligen vad vi hade förväntat oss.

Fantastic nice place. The view is magical, sitting in the hot tub and sauna with that view is wonderful, truly soothing for the soul.
We were asked what we wanted for breakfast and what we were served really exceeded what we had expected.
A visit here is highly recommended.
