Nice hotel and rooms with a great view! Spent new years here. They’ve got a pool area on the top of the hotel. And the breakfast is simply amazing. Nice restaurant at the entrance too. The only downside is that there’s no water kettle in the room.

Took a while to get into the spa...because the staff had turned off the elevator? Changing rooms feature a tiny changing area with no privacy and a bathroom the size of a small country. There are no door stoppers on the glass shower door, so it swings wildly and smashes against the shower head for some reason. The pool is great with an exceptional view though if youre in any way mobility disabled then forget about it, Ur just not going in due to another odd design decision. The Wood hotel : The hotel of strange design decisions with elevators you can turn off when uve just had enough of customers for one day. Side Note: went to lunch in the cafe at half twelve and was told the staff are having their lunch now. Welcome.

I recently stayed at The Wood Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is beautifully situated in the city center, providing easy access to various attractions and amenities. However, I encountered a significant drawback regarding parking. I specifically chose this hotel because both Hotels.com and the hotel's own website advertised that parking spots were included. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I discovered that the hotel does not offer parking. This was quite inconvenient as I was not comfortable leaving my car in a public parking facility.

Despite this issue, The Wood Hotel has a lot to offer with its prime location and beautifully designed rooms. I would recommend it for those traveling without a car or those who don't mind using public parking options.

We booked this hotel because it has a spa. We only stayed one day and arrived late. When we wanted to use the spa in the morning, the reception told us that it was completely rented out to an external party until late afternoon. Since we had to check out, it meant we could not use the spa at all. Nobody told us during booking or during check in. The woman at the reception was quite arrogant about it.
The rooms were not well acoustically isolated so that you could hear the noise from the neighbours. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast had many vegetarian / vegan options but many were next to meat / fish and people were using the same fork.

Room 13 has amazing service found some free Afgani opium original made. For a great experience knock on door 13 and ask for James. Also great lobster fight. They battle the lobster before they boil them. The winner gets to live an another day. Lots of shouting from the kitchen.
