Room was not very clean. Long black hair on the floor, towels and bathroom floor. Very comfortable beds, hair dryer, small kettle and coffee/tea station on desk. Restaurant serving dinner- superb food. Breakfast lovely- anything you wan't.

Honestly the only reason I'm giving this hotel 2 stars is because it has a good breakfast, as for the rest I don't recommend it at all. The hotel is on the main shopping street and the problem here is that because it's an older hotel the windows have zero sound proof capacities. So if your room is facing the street you will hear everything especially at night as there will be a lot of drunk people walking around yelling.

As for the rooms, extremely tiny with no AC, so on a warm day you will cook. As for the beds, the mattresses are extremely thin pads, so you will end up with a back pain

No real complaints about the facilities - the rooms are clean, the breakfast is nice, and the location is excellent.

It is unfortunate that this chain has decided to join the trend of trying to extract additional money from guests through the check-in process.

Upon arrival we were told that the check-in time had been moved to 4pm (ridiculously late), and checking us in at any point before that would cost additional 150 SEK, even though the room was obviously ready. Some 'economy' brands like Ibis Budget are known to operate this policy, but it seems to be news for most people as far as Scandic is concerned, as evidenced by a string of other people in the lobby who were unwilling to pay and had to hang around waiting for 4pm. Not a good look.

Largely disatisfied with this hotel, where i have been several times.
Always queuing to check in , not possiblr to online checking.
Quite noisy room if on avenue side. Very basic furnitures and no armchair. Room are ok for cleanness, but not exceptiona.

After changing 4 rooms becuase of HAIR all over, and after the receptionists don't even believe me anymore, I got another room, they said they "checked" everything. And thats what I got again.
It feels so bad, please respect yourselfs and avoid visiting this hotel.
