A nice place inside the city. The garden offers the visitors flower beds with hundreds of roses (I read that 2,300 kinds of roses are cultivated here). Besides, there are sheltered corners with chairs and tables where you can sit, read, etc. A cafeteria is part of the environment. A pleasant pause from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Really beautiful place in the hearth of Gothenburg. This place (especially during sunny weather) gives such a nice positive vibe with all the greenery there is. The garden society is ideal place just to stroll around, enjoy nature, admire various plants, palm trees and cactuses. During a nice day you can see many people there having lunch/picnic and children playing at the playground.

Quiet, clean, and many small paths.  Plenty of shade from trees.  Beautiful views 360.  Cafe and ice cream are treats found within this beautiful park.

A really beautiful place, with a lot of flowers, roses, palms, trees and cactus. I can't believe it is totally free, if you like to take a breath of the noise and chaos of the city you should visit this place.
