I have eaten in the restaurant. The location is great considered the surrounding area and the castle and the canal in front of it. The structure itself needs a thorough renovation. Service in the restaurant was very kind and the food we had, Asian inspired, freshly made Yakiniku, was really good.

Such a shame that what was a beautiful and historic place is now run to the ground.

We were there for a birthday celebration and was very disappointed.

1. Extremely unprofessional service

We were four people and on the table was only three sets of cutlery with one dirty/used napkin.

It was a Japanese fusion so we asked for chopsticks. We were four people, but the waitress only came back with two sets of chopsticks. So we had to ask again then she seemed impatient.

When the food was there, she didn't give us plate to eat in and we had to request again.

Then when the Ramen and Bibimbap came, she did not give us spoons, so we had to ask once again.

2. Bad food
The Ramen, they call it "FarsHats Ramen"... but they made it with Korean instant noodle. This is not okay.

The rest tasted like cheap take away food.

Really hope the beautiful glory of the restaurant can come back in some ways.

This hotel is very outdated. It may have been a modern hotel in the 60s to 80s, but nothing has been renovated since then.
We were supposedly given the best room, it was also quite spacious, but it stank of vapours from the laminate and/or cleaning products. The mattresses were so saggy that I had to put the top layer on the floor so as not to feel like I was lying in a hammock.
It was the end of June and it was 26°C outside, so a lot of heat was trapped in the room due to the uninsulated windows. There was no air conditioning. We therefore had to open the windows at night. As a result, we had street noise and laughter all night long from people who seemed to be turning night into day.
The breakfast was simple, but both the sliced bread and the crispbread tasted as if they were already several days old. The coffee seemed to consist of water-soluble powder. The breakfast table was terribly sticky, so I had to put on several napkins to be able to eat reasonably hygienically. This hotel should actually be demolished or closed down by the authorities. We will definitely not be returning. Not even if the accommodation was free. I'd rather drive 30-50 kilometres more, but a campsite or a hikers' hostel is much better!

Well at least it was cheap. But have never stayed in a such worn out hotel.
This should have been renovated years ago. Stains all over the place , bad knowledge in the reception, no soap at the room. Not informed that it also is a night club on Fridays when we booked. The dance floor was also used as spot for breakfast, it was sticky so to say 😒

It really needs a complete makeover

WARNING ⚠️

Don't be fooled by the website or pictures online. This place is a mess with dirty broken rooms, with a smell of black mold. The room didn't match the pictures and had several black and brown stains in the carpet floor, as well as body hair from previous occupants in the toilet/bathroom. Towels and soaps were missing in the bathroom, trashbin missing. The TV was broken. Even the parking lot hade huge pot holes and broken glas on it in places..

DONT GO HERE!
We didn't even stay the night but chose to pay for another hotel instead!
