One word - meatballs - sums it all up. The food is served canteen style, i.e. you queue, order, pay and carry your own food to your table. The meatballs I had were tender and tasty. The mash was creamy. It wasn’t fine dining but it was perfect for me as I was hungry and wanted something quick and not fussy.

What better way to end a trip to Sweden than to finally try meatballs (assuming IKEA doesn’t count)? Choices were aplenty, however I wanted something quite casual since I had early flight the day after. Cafe du Nord, which serves cafeteria style food and drinks, seem like a natural choice. Price for 3 meatballs, alongside potatoes, gravy, and lingonberry jam, was also reasonable at 139SEK. Having tried Danish and Norwegian meatballs during my trip, I had to say that the Swedish really won this one. The meat was juicy and tender, balanced with creamy potatoes. For me, though, the best part was actually the lingonberry and gravy combination. Highly recommended.

If you're looking to try some Swedish food while in GBG, this is a good option. It's in a great location and the prices are fair. There's a good casual atmosphere inside, and the meatballs were great.

We're from Malaysia, and we had an amazing experience at this place. The meatballs here are hands down tastier than those at IKEA Malaysia; they not only look bigger but are incredibly delicious. The grilled salmon was another standout – incredibly fresh and wonderfully flavorful. Highly recommend trying these delightful dishes!
