Beautiful interior and very friendly staff. Food and drinks are delicious but unfortunately I would say overpriced. Maki and pork were very tasty, yet, I don’t think it should cost that money, especially when you look at some positions and some of them are served in pieces which is not enough of course.
Drinking positions are kinda expensive too.
But overall it’s worth visiting once

Highly recommend stop for lunch or weekend brunch for all of you visiting Gothenburg as well as for us living in the city. We love this place and it is our regular stop on lazy Saturdays :-).
On negative side, well, yes it is expensive...but it is good.

Disappointing Dining Experience

I just had dinner here with my colleagues, and I have to say the experience was quite disappointing. The food was subpar, to say the least. Both the maki and the Korean fried chicken were way too salty, making it hard to enjoy.

To make matters worse, we found a bone in the salmon maki we ordered. When we brought this up with the waiter, she simply took the dish away without any explanation or apology. The lack of professionalism and care from the staff was shocking.

Overall, a shame for a restaurant that we expected more from. Would not recommend based on this experience.

A hype pan-Asian fusion restaurant at the heart of Gothenburg. Strategic location, but unfortunately the experience didn’t really match the hype.

The meals and cocktails which we ordered were mediocre, to put it mildly.

The cocktails were extremely underwhelming. Shochu Collins cocktail was served in a mere basic water glass with a couple of big chunks of ice and some spices sticked on the glass. Couldn’t taste the alcohol and it tasted very similar as Fanta Exotic (perhaps you can tell by the colour as well). Wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t spend 158:- on a “Fanta Exotic” without any hint of alcohol in it. The audacity to put that high price on this level of quality with the basic presentation is hilarious.

Coco cocktail was OK, but butterfly pea (one of the elements in the cocktail) should be blue instead of murky purple color.

Fried wonton was nice! Crispy, not greasy, okay-seasoned but would’ve been elevated with a tad more salt.

Wagyu robata maki was also nice. The flavour profile is mild, balanced, would’ve been nicer if the wagyu flavour was not too subtle.

Drunken spicy noodles lived up to its spicy name so that was good, yet too vinagery, as if the sauce was mixed with sort of a bottled jar Sambal Oeleok or similar sambal you could find in a store.

Quite cozy atmosphere (disregarding a bit too loud music) and the staffs were friendly, nice and attentive. They took the time to explain the concept of the dining and each element of the dish.

With a few extra bucks, perhaps it is worth to go up the Avenyn to T*s* for an Asian-fusion experience. Or to go down the Avenyn to Y*b* at Kungsportplatsen for a more affordable yet much more satisfying meal and better value for money.

There was a BIG bone in the sushi salmon. Talked to the lady manager and all we received was silence. No apologies, no compensations or such.
Very bad service.

The food is ok but quite salty. Atmosphere was good.
But will never come back or recommend to anyone.
