Absolutely fantastic food!
I have been to India, eating genuin local cooked food but this is at least as good!
We had the chef 5 course selection and have to rate it as one of my top 3 Indian meals ever! 🤩
A hot tip; try the Adarak Chai tea! Absolutely fantastic!
If you have not been here, you got to go!

Was met by a warm atmosphere and an amazing server - friendly and welcoming. Today's lunch was full of flavor, but a special shoutout to the chef for baking the best naan I've had in Gothenburg.

Definitely coming back for the à la carte.

I would like to share my flavorful experience at Maharani. It was an absolute delight for my taste buds. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and cozy and sets a perfect tone for your Indian experience.
The menu has a wide array of Indian dishes. From the fragrant biryanis to the rich and creamy curries, every dish had explosion of different flavours. The use of high-quality ingredients and unique spice blending shows the chef's dedication to delivering an authentic taste. The service was perfect and have very friendly staff who are always running around to help! They offer good suggestions too! I have already recommended this place to all my friends here in Gothenburg! :)

Food was 10/10! I was very skeptical as most of the Indian restaurants has North Indian based foods, but Maharani has exceeded my expectations and surprised me with their taste and quality of food. We tried masala dosa, chicken chettinad, prawn coconut curry, parotta , garlic naan. Loved the South Indian infusion with spices and taste. Will definitely visit again👍

Tried this restaurant after seeing a lot of social media advertisements claiming that they make everything from scratch in-house. We ordered Paneer tikka, Kadhai Paneer, Dal Makhani and Garlic Naan.

Not a very authentic Indian taste but set to Swedish standard. Paneer in either dishes wasn’t grilled or marinated properly. Had very bland taste. The veggies in tawa paneer were raw and uncooked.

Dal Makhani was okay but felt portion was very less. Simple ambience. Services were very quick. Felt pricey in comparison to taste.

I would prefer other Indian restaurant to go for authentic taste.
