We have been dining in Oizo for a approx last 2 years as it has good food even though with loud atmosphere and uncomfortable sitting.

However, our experience took an unexpected turn today. My wife was in the order que for 20-25 minutes with our two kids, while admittedly 4 year old bit energetic, were by no means disruptive—just kids being kids. To our surprise, the restaurant owner asks them to leave saying your kids are too loud. The fact that, their voice was way less than the atmospheric and no was disturbing.

While I understand the desire to maintain a serene dining environment, but that is no way this restaurant is due it’s own setup.

We went back home without food and kids crying due the way restaurant owner handled it.

While I read the previous reviews, this is not the first time, he has been such incidents.

Good food is not worth any humiliation!

Quite busy hyped place and you had to stand in line to order which is why I gave service a 2. The staff was friendly but slow and too relaxed, considering there were 5-10 people queuing.
We ordered pizza.
The wait is understandable since they can only bake one pizza at a time so we didn't mind.
The dough tasted very good and the crust was crispy and fluffy. This would honestly deserve 5 stars, but the tomato sauce was bad. Too sweet and lacked flavour. It was also too runny and left a puddle on the plate. I struggled to even finish my last piece and the overly sweet taste of tomato sauce clinged to my mouth all evening.
It would be a very easy fix yet it totally ruined our experience.

3-tips if you want to take your kids to Oizo restaurant 🙏🏼
1. Tape their mouth and tie their legs so they cant talk or move
2. Make sure they behave like an adult because clearly the owner can’t 😊

Could be great but expensive, unnecessary long long queuing (blatant marketing tactic), tinny sound and you can’t take your laptop. (In 2024 what does that mean?) I mean a lot of people work / slowly killing themselves on their telephone. But this isn’t discouraged.

Also: no takeaways / doggie bags, no wine glasses for non-alcoholic drinks. (Weird or??)

Honestly, food is good, got some great beers etc. amazing (!) location when it’s sunny. Nice interior, But something is a little off.

If you were to put this place on a busy commercial restaurant/ bar street in the city, it wouldn’t survive. But it does here because it’s not challenged. No competition.
