The food at Pergola was absolutely delicious, a bit on the pricey side but very tasty! The bruchetta was maybe the only item I didn't like as it was 110kr and only one slice of bread drenched in olive oil. It had a pretty presentation, and it tasted ok, but I think it was slightly overpriced. The main dish, pasta Al gorgonzola, was very tasty, the pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce, meat, and mushroom combo were great! The tiramisu was a bit small but overall the best I had in gothenburg so far.
Now, I will say, the restaurant is quite small and after enquiring if we were there for drinks or food, the waitress escorted us to a room. After a bit, we were trying to enjoy our dessert when a very large group of people started sitting and dragging chairs next to us, leaving us with no personal space to enjoy our food... to give perspective, I had a girl sit so close to me (it was a long couch seating area) that our legs were touching and she had a friend sitting on her lap so they could all fit... I couldn't even exit my seat as they had placed a chair in the tiny passage between the tables. I found the lack of organisation or coordination a bit rude, and it did make us leave early. It was only 20h, and we had ordered drinks, I would rate the drink, but I had to down it fast as I wanted to leave, so my review of it wouldn't be fair. It was quite the shame as the food was lovely and the waitress was quite thoughtful at the start of the evening.

That is all on positive stuff.

Cutlery is dirty and not wiped, same story with glasses.

Negroni is 0,5/3 of a glass 🥃 - never seen such portion before 😄
Lobster soup with ravioli is not worth a try, beef cheeks were burned and dry on the top and all sauce was below the meat and zero on the top.
Nice waiters, so I guess problem is in management that do not have class or taste to refine the place to its best. Location is amazing.
