I like the food and most importantly the way they are peculiar about the food we want, they wanted to us taste the food first and if it’s not up to our like they will cook again with our choice. Loved the service and staff there. Felt like I was on some ones home serving the food and taking care of our choices. Chilli paneer and cheese naan was great!

This is one of the best Pakistani (HALAL) restaurants I've found in Gothenburg, offering a true taste of Pakistan. If you want to experience amazing Pakistani/Indian cuisine and leave happy, try this restaurant.

I went there last week with a friend. It is located by the water, providing beautiful scenery to enjoy while you dine. The restaurant looks quite fancy, making it a great place to bring friends, family, and colleagues for a good time. I ordered the Tikka Masala, which is served with rice and also ordered Naan bread, and the taste was fantastic. Their Naan bread is quite big. If you are avoiding oil for health reasons, I recommend requesting adjustments. My friend got Biryani, Tikka Masala, naan bread, kulfi, and barfi. We loved everything we tried. I've never seen Biryani served so beautifully; it was pleasant to look at and came with Raita. If you can't tolerate a lot of spices, you can ask them to reduce the spice level.

The service was excellent, and the staff was so kind and friendly that they even gave us free barfi and kulfi, making our day during the hot weather. The barfi was the best I've ever had – the one you have to research hard to get even in Pakistan. The ice cream, kulfi, made from milk, is a very healthy dessert if you haven't tried it before. In short, everything was amazing. My friend, her family, and I loved it. We had a takeaway as it was already evening, but the food was really fresh and warm even after the long journey home. They serve generous portions, and one dish, like Tikka Masala, is enough to make you full.

I didn't know they have buffets every day at specific times, so next time I'm visiting with friends to enjoy several Pakistani/Indian dishes, snacks, and desserts at the buffet. Thank you for such a great experience!

Celebrating Eid at Shaalimar Restaurant was an unforgettable experience! The festive ambiance, delicious food, and warm hospitality made it the perfect place to enjoy this special day.

The buffet was outstanding, offering a huge variety of dishes. We loved the halwa puri and pani puri, which added a traditional touch to our Eid breakfast. The chicken butter, tandoori items, biryani, and many other dishes were absolutely delicious, bursting with rich flavors and cooked to perfection.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we felt at home. The prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the food was top-notch.

If you’re looking for the best place to celebrate Eid with amazing food and a great atmosphere, Shaalimar Restaurant is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Best Pakistani Cuisine 🇵🇰
We came all the way from Malmö and I must say we were more than impressed by the food and variety. It’s been more than 2 years we last visited Pakistan and we definitely miss the taste of our food. So we came here to experience the same taste of our local food and we were so amazed that we literally forgot to take pictures of the food lol 😂 since we came  for lunch buffet and we wanted to try everything out and I must say it was awesome and beyond expectations 🤩 they also had variety of meethai (sweets)  🍮🍧🍨and everything was so delicious and perfect and their prices are also very reasonable. The restaurant looked very neat and tidy during lunch and there was plenty of parking space, they also had a small play area for kids.
10/10 recommended 👍🏻💯💯
