The drinks were delicious and very carefully made. The staff was very nice and were paying attention to everyone.
Unfortunately for me, I don't really get the vibe or the hype around the place. It's indeed a matter of preference, but it can get incredibly crowded and the music can be a bit too loud.
The whole "speakeasy" idea could be fun if there was any kind of "sorting" at the entrance. When we entered so did a group of 6ish people who were way too buzzed and just came by the wrong door when they actually meant to go to the bar nextdoor. Again, personal expectations, but for a snobby concept, I can have snobby expectations too 🤷‍♀️

Stranger GBG has a fantastic atmosphere and the staff are very nice and friendly. The cocktails here are also very good and they keep changing their menus so that you get to try out a lot more. They use very large ice cubes which is a bit disappointing if you are looking for "quantity" in the cocktail

I found the place being just across from my hotel from google maps. Speak easy bar with awesome cocktails!
Really high quality and fair price. Not too busy and great atmosphere. Had good talks with bartenders and music was really good.
I can sincerely recommend them for a couple of drinks after dinner. Will go back the next time I am in Gothenburg for sure

I cannot recommend this bar. We were 4 friends and we came to this bar on Saturday. We ordered a cocktail and I got huge ice cubes and a little bit of cocktail in my glass. Another 3 friends were on the way to us so we wanted to switch the table to bigger one. The waitress told that we should order more drinks or leave because “we are just taking the space in the bar”. I did not feel that we were welcomed at this bar, so, we left and we have no wish to come back.
