Great hotell with extremely kind and welcoming staff. And if there anything wrong tell the staff and they would do something about it right away.
Their food is a chaff kiss.
And you have a lot of options for breakfast.

I chose this hotel in Gothenburg for the swimming pool and the breakfast option at the cheapest price and I should say that I made the best choice. Their breakfast menu had lots of items and the jacuzzi was free almost all the time for us to enjoy.

Hotel structure/room itself is worn and needs restoration. There’s a bubble gum looking thing on the upper bunk bed that we dont know what it is. Some lights are not working in the room so its dark. Thermo/heater cannot be adjusted. Turn down service should be requested, though we didnt need it.

Breakfast spread was really nice though, enjoyed the variety.

Pool was under renovation.

Location is a little out of the city center.

Great location, just 11 minutes by bus to the city centre.

Affordable but has all the facilities you require for a relaxed stay which include swimming pool/jacuzzi/sauna, gym though just a walking distance from the hotel with free access, parking with charging slots, play area for kids etc.

Breakfast buffet was great with varieties to choose from. Gluten/lactose free options well taken care of.

Very helpful staff and always ready to help but check-in time should greatly be respected.

My disappointments are the outdoor area of the hotel should be taken a lot at and improved  to have that immediate welcoming feel as you arrive. As a family friendly designated hotel, alot needs to be done with the family room as they are not welcoming at all. Currently it feels just a sleeping space. No fridge, no provision for enough sitting place and table to accommodate a family, rooms must be cleaned and free of dust.

Another suggestion is parking should be free for hotel guests however charging of electric cars should be paid for.

We recently stayed at the Quality Hotel Winn in Göteborg as a group of six, and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel’s location, while not downtown, is quite convenient, with Bus 18 taking you into the city centre in just 10 minutes, making it easy for us to get around and explore.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay more enjoyable. We also liked having access to the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi—these were nice to have available year-round, especially after a day out in the city.

However, the hotel is showing its age, and we noticed a slight odour in all the rooms. The Wi-Fi was also a bit unreliable, at least in my room. It kept going in and out, so I ended up using my phone’s data instead, which worked much better.

The breakfast was good, with a solid variety to start the day, even though the sparkling water was flat (it was broken). During our stay, the hotel was lively with sports teams and young kids running around the corridors, which added a lot of energy. As a parent, I didn’t mind the kids running around in the morning, but it might not be ideal for those seeking a quieter stay.

Overall, the Quality Hotel Winn is a good option for families and groups who want friendly service and easy access to the city. While it’s not the fanciest place and has some areas for improvement, it offers a comfortable stay with convenient amenities.
