As a frequent air traveler, I can confidently say that this third-party operated Star Alliance lounge stands out as one of the most comfortable and offers the best quality food among the many third-party lounges I've visited. My only downside is that the lounge can feel a bit cramped and crowded, given its limited size. Still, it remains a solid choice for relaxation before a flight.

It’s always appreciated to have a comfortable place to relax while waiting for a flight. However, having visited a number of lounges, I feel it’s important to provide honest feedback. The selection of food and beverages here is quite limited, both in variety and quality. As this is my current home city, I genuinely wish I could offer a more favorable review—but I must remain objective.

One positive aspect is the view of the runway, although seating near the windows can be tricky depending on the sun’s position. It’s also worth noting that Gothenburg International is a relatively small airport, which may impact the quality.

A normal lounge with nothing special to boast about. Small snacks available to eat. Ambience is nice with good seats. Limited choice for food.

While at Gothenburg airport, we gained access to the Lounge by Menzes Aviation using our dragon pass. The lounge itself is past security and after the duty-free section next to the SAS lounge. We liked the black and gold aesthetic of the place, the easy listening music that’s just in the background, the comfortable seating and how the lounge was clean.

The restrooms are outside the lounge though and had no shower facilities at the time which is a bit of a shame. In terms of food of drink, there’s a decent selection of cold food and the hot food option during our visit was chicken wings which were seasoned well. They had both beer and wine on tap as well as bottles of spirits. We had a relaxing time at The Lounge by Menzes Aviation in Gothenburg airport and would visit here again.

I wish they had longer opening times though!

One of the poor airport lounges. No dedicated toilets or WiFi, need to use generic airport ones. Food choices included stale bread or crackers with hummus, salami and cheese or a single cold pasta salad. If you get free access then fine as somewhere quiet but definitely not worth paying for.
