Great rooms with comfortable beds. Stayed here with a family of 4 and it was very pleasant. Breakfast was OK, and cheep parking. A 15 minute walk to Mölndal where there are restaurants and shopping

The amusement park-themed interior was really nice. Rooms and the hotel in general are really clean. It looks really new. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of options. Downside is the location. Quite far from the Gothenburg center. We were there for a concert at Ullevi. The commute back to the hotel after the concert was not easy. Other times was ok.

If the carousel/ Tivoli theme works for you then you'll love this hotel. Everything was wonderful during our stay, but it is located a little away from the Gothenburg train station, which is especially problematic during the night because the public transport in the city is not well organized (it's not the hotel's fault though).

As always a perfect hotel visit at Åby Hotel. Just dont forget....if you use power charge for your car you currently need 2 apps, 1 for parking and 1 for power. Just follow the signs or ask reception. Enjoy 😉

Really impressed and surpassed our expectations. Friendly staff, they upgraded our room and great rooms. Breakfast good. A few comments on here about it being far from Gothenburg but it was a nice summer walk to the train station so didn’t see a problem with that. Maybe not a great walk in winter but then could easily drive in.
