This time I only slept here. But the service is always excellent, the food really good, and the breakfast is nice. Also with a lovely view of Trollhättan.

I stayed here for a work trip to Sweden from the US. What a great place to stay. The rooms were large and very clean.

We also ate at the restaurant. To say the food was great would be an understatement. I absolutely loved the hospitality the staff showed. Even one of the chefs look like Gordon Ramsay, not as loud though.

I would highly recommend the Albert to anyone staying in town. Stay for dinner as well!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The room was oriented twords the street with no privacy at all. The courtain have to be closed all the time. The sink in the bath was clogged, the rain shower broken and the fan in the bath was running all the time.
The positive part was the breakfast with a big variety and a good view over the river. However the room was not worth over 125€ per night, therefore as already mentioned before by others: visit the restaurant but don't stay over night.

Room:
The rooms are unfortunately not in the main house, but in an outbuilding. Do not meet our expectations of a 4-star house. It was very cold in the room and the heaters were probably still deactivated. Mattresses very soft. -> 3 stars

Hotel sector:
A very nice old main house with a very cosy lounge and chic terrace. Breakfast was better at the weekend than during the week. The times during the week are unfortunately from 7-9 o'clock, which is a little bit early for a hotel. -> 4 stars

Restaurant:
The food was very good. Unfortunately no English lunch menu. -> 4 stars
