Great excursion/activity day in Grindelwald. I would recommend purchasing the unlimited gondola + 2 activity pass. Our favorite activity were the mountain carts down the mountain, be careful as they can reach some fast speeds! Be prepared for some lines while at the top, but ours moved relatively quickly. The cows at the top are also a Switzerland must see. You are able to walk freely with them which was pretty cool. They charge, so don’t touch. Overall a great experience for family, friends or as a couple.

Beautiful peak and the cliff walk was very good. Thankfully, for us it was not that crowded but on crowded days it could be a little disappointing, but the views are breathtaking. We took the Trotter bikes down to the bottom and it was so much fun. There was no wait. There was an hour and a half wait for the mountain carts, which seems like a total waste of time. Especially since once you get on the path there’s traffic on the trail getting down.

We got up first thing in the morning when they opened to avoid lines. I highly recommend doing the 2 pack adventures because it comes with unlimited Gondola uses for the day.  Much cheaper. Go up to the top then do the sip line and HIGHLY recommend the mountain carts. Sooooo much fun!

Before we did the mountain carts we relaxed and had some really good cider.
We had a great experience. But GO early!!!

Must try gondola ride in Switzerland! Once at the top, you can hike to the gorgeous Bachalpsee, and then challenge yourself at the cliff walk. Best to start early, as the last gondola ride is til 1800. You have 2 stops, and each stop has a beautiful Alpine view, and hang around and have a drink, or dine in the restaurants. You can also rent a bike, a cart and so much more! Worth the cable car price.
