 From April 1 to October 31, 2025, the museum opens daily from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. From November 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, it operates Tuesday to Saturday 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, closed on Mondays during winter.

Great place for coffee, hot cocoa, or drink. I had the merengue with double cream and it was fantastic. The decor is very unique and one of a kind, and a must if you are an Alien fan. The service was very good too. Just a caution, if you don't like heavy metal/rock, you might not enjoy this place as much. For me, the music somehow matches very well with the ambiance.

The Bar HR Giger is a must visit when staying in Greyerz. The aesthetic of his designs fill up the bar and introduce you to his view on the world.
Prices for food and drinks are reasonable and the service is really friendly. 10/10, recommend.

So after driving quite a long way to visit this, not really a Giger fan but wanted to see the alien bar,  arrived just as the sun was setting. Managed to get a space in the car park which is large but quite full. Then wandered up to the town. The town is worth a visit on its own. Is a lovely, car free town square with restaurants and shops all around and a lovely little chapel.

Then hidden away at the top of the town is the museum and bar. The museum is a great space and we managed to sneak in just before closing. Took about half an hour to walk around. Is a testament to this rather disturbed artist. Some great Alien stuff in the museum as well as the rather darker stuff. Some of his private collection is interesting.

Then wandered over to the bar when I had a green beer and sat in a chair designed for aliens. It was a great place to visit and would totally recommend.

This is hull HR Giger alien experience, unique design and ambience , creepy spooky but in a. Good way , green beer , 25th year anniversary beer super tasty, must visit in gruyer and … no cheeese here ;)

That's a very special experience you don't want to miss. If I knew, I'd just go to the bar instead of the museum 😅😅😅 who was at the museum would probably understand))
Drinks were also very nice, as well as service.
At first they don't allow you to take photos, but everyone does anyway...
