This stunning hotel exceeded all expectations. The availability of halal options, including the delicious fondue, truly sets it apart. Every dish was of exceptional quality and beautifully presented. The staff were professional, friendly, and always went the extra mile. The terrace offered a serene atmosphere with breathtaking views—a perfect spot to relax. The Bar has lovely decor and a pleasant ambiance. It’s a quiet place with good service; however, the drinks were disappointing.
The hot chocolate was almost cold, had an overpowering ginger flavor, and the whipped cream—served separately—was the canned spray type.
The Black Dragon mocktail was essentially just lemon juice mixed with water.
The draft beer was the only decent drink. It’s quite disappointing for a famous hotel to such poor-quality beverages. While we enjoyed the environment, was about it. For three drinks, we paid 47 francs.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Beau-Rivage. We had a wonderful time, unfortunately the weather was rainy on both days, but the great location compensated us for it. The room was beautiful and especially made me dream...thank you very much.

My fiancé and I spent a night at the Beau-Rivage upon kicking off our Swiss-French vacation and we are kicking ourselves for not staying longer. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating & friendly, particular the bellmen who were so attentive and thoughtful. The lobby was all lit up for the holidays and felt very cozy. Rooms were a tad dated, though we learned they are going through a large renovation in early 2025. Location is fantastic, with close proximity to the lake and old town. We will definitely be back!

A 6-star experience at the Beau-Rivage which was such a special and beautiful hotel. It’s steeped in history and the large rooms and various design elements around the hotel reflect so.

Reception (Chloe, Fiona and Hugo) were a delight to interact with daily. Breakfast is served in the French restaurant Chat Botte where Mr Marco very kindly welcomed us.

Housekeeping also goes the extra mile to make sure rooms are clean and replenishes what you require. It was also refreshing to see the small bottles of toiletries again instead of the taped to the wall huge bottles which are hard to escape in 99% of hotels you go to these days.

Surprisingly they have a modern gym that we were very happy to use in the morning! It was decently well-equipped and you can still get a decent workout with various cardio equipment and free weights-machines.
It felt like such a luxurious experience (since it’s family owned and not part of the usual hotel chains one frequents) and we would gladly come back to Geneva just to stay in this hotel.
