This was one of my favorite restaurants of our recent European trip! The atmosphere and decor was incredible and made me feel like I was living in another century. Not to mention the amazing service from our waitress who made homemade weinerschnitzel table side. We also tried the chocolate mousse for dessert which was absolutely amazing.

Such a pleasant experience. We made a booking in advance and right from the start the staff were extremely welcoming. Of course I had to try the famous table side prepared weinerschnitzel and it was worth it, delicious and entertaining. The sliced venison was also amazing. Melt in your mouth meat! To too it all off, our waitress was the absolute best. We enjoyed her company for the night !

Classic, authentic Swiss cuisine in the heart of Lucerne. Came here with a reservation and so glad we did because people kept flowing in. They’re famous for the table side schnitzel- and it lived up to the hype! It’s definitely a must see, you can tell it’s a hot spot as there’s endless pictures of celebrities who’ve dined there on the walls down to the restrooms. Perfect for a Switzerland dining experience!

Reservations are a MUST. I had the signature Wienerschnitzel dish while my wife ordered the perch with spinach and potatoes.  Both were delicious. The service was great the staff are very attentive. Watching our waiter cook the wiernerschnitzel tableside was very interesting to watch,  and the waiter was very animated while cooking.
The dinner was very expensive,  but the food and service make it all worthwhile.

Loved the ambience of this place. Really neat inside. The table side schnitzel is of course the thing to see, and it was tasty. The rest of my family got that but I got a brisket dish with potatoes and creamed spinach which was excellent portion and pretty tasty especially with the accompanying sauces. The potatoes needed something but the chive sauce was it!
Desserts were great too. The apple fritters are delightful and the chocolate mouse is rich and dark.
