This place is all about the view. It’s an incredibly special experience. Make sure you time it right depending on the time of year so you are in the sun on the patio- we had a reservation at 1pm in mid February and it was perfect. We walked down from the tram and met up with the skiers for our reservation.

Atmosphere was exactly what we expected and more. Slow service but seemed understaffed, so understandable. We ordered the burger, gnocchi, and champagne. The burger was good but not as delicious as the Brown Cow pub in Zermatt village, so rating that 4/5. The gnocchi was also good, but we’ve had better. Overall, great experience and reasonable prices for what you get!

We had lunch at Chez Vrony three times, and each visit was an absolute delight. The atmosphere is fantastic—cozy, welcoming, and perfectly situated for a relaxing break. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff making every meal special. The food was delicious and fresh, with standout dishes like the beautifully presented carpaccio and the warming Bloody Mary soup. Highly recommended!

Excellent way to end my vacation in Zermatt. Sitting on the deck eating the famous Vrony burger and sipping on a glass of wine with the Matterhorn as a backdrop. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic. Add Chez Vrony to your list of must do's while visiting Zermatt, you will be glad you did.

Iconic. Hiked to have a lovely lunch outside at this upscale chalet in the middle of the Alps. Classy, fresh, and delicious. We shared a salad, vegetable burger, ravioli, and an extravagant dessert sampler. Note that we did not have a reservation, although we did arrive at their opening and had no problem being seated. By the time we were leaving all of the seating was full. So good.
