Vi vandrade runt Kapali ar? Jag och på ett hörn snubblat vi över denna plats. Det är gatan mat i all sin ära fylld med lokalbefolkningen. Vi hade en lamm lever smörgås och en lamm kebab. . . 2 ariser att gå med och de ger dig gratis grillad paprika, pickles och persilja. . . mycket läcker, billig och för mycket mat. . . Jag följer alltid lokalbefolkningen och det lönar sig alltid. . . :)

Jag har provat deras leversmörgås idag som var kryddig men extremt välsmakande. De har ett mycket enkelt koncept med begränsat sittplatser och öppen buffé som innehåller inlagd gurka, persilja och andra kryddor och citronsaft. Leveren är malet och insvept i en tunn pita. Du kan alltid lägga till kryddor eller allt du vill ha. Övergripande mycket trevligt. Jag älskade det.

Vi hittade det här stället eftersom vi var hängde runt grand bazaar, och vi var trötta av restauranger och letar efter något mer autentisk. Detta var den bästa kebab jag hade under vår vistelse i Istanbul! Jag tror att det skulle ha varit perfekt om kebab hade mer kött, men med alla dessa toppning, det var utsökt ändå. Persilja, chili och chilipulver var mina favoriter.

Kaféet är mycket nära till Grand Bazaar och även om sittplatser är begränsad, servicen är mycket snabbt och kebab är utsökt. Värd att vänta på och billigt också.

Detta är en mycket enkel restaurang som har specialiserat sig på mat för lokalbefolkningen. Vi besökte under Ramadan så det var inte över upptagna men på andra tider kan det vara långa väntetider. Vi hade lamm och kyckling och båda var utmärkt. Det finns en gemensam "fixin bar" som innehåller färsk persilja, inlagd chilies och sumac. Vi rekommenderar att du besöker eftersom maten är utmärkt och stämningen bra.

Detta är lite undangömt i labyrint av Grand Bazaar. Ingen hade hört talas om denna plats när vi frågade, så jag vet inte om det kallas Aynen Kebap eller Aynen durumvete. Från utanför main gate ( # 1), sväng höger och gå till nästa gate, jag tror 23. Sväng vänster in genom grinden och det ligger precis där. Det är prisvärt och mycket bra. Du kanske måste vänta på en plats, men det är ett bra tecken på att de är alltid upptagna. Om du är i basaren och letar efter ett ställe, försök att hitta det här stället!

Bara upptäckt denna plats idag och det var riktigt bra och fantastisk valuta. Jag blev erbjuden en pall av en lokal och satte sig vid det gemensamma bordet och beställde en kyckling durumvete. Nylagad, smakade bra och ett fynd på 8TL för en mättande måltid. Önskar bara jag hade hittat den tidigare. Nära till gate 20 av Bazaar men väl värt att söka upp.
