The starters, steak and fish pie were amazing.  Perfectly cooked and tasted beautiful.  Unfortunately,  that's where it ended.  The triple cooked chips weren't just crisp, they were hard on the outside and the service was shocking! 25 minutes for 1 drink to come to the table.  Serving staff not seemingly able to understand the orders being made and coming back 20 minutes later rechecking the order several times because they thought they might have got it wrong.  Cutlery for steak given to the wrong people (they only had to remember 1 person not eating steak).  6 people,  and 4 starters.  One of of which (chicken liver parfait) arrived after everyone else had finished theirs and it wasn't just soft, it was runny!   We then waited for far too long for our main courses and again,  massive delay getting drinks.  And whilst the ribeye steak was nice and cooked perfectly,  £25 supplement....really?  And a 12.5% service charge automatically added.  Sorry, not your finest hour Unfortunately.

Recently had the pleasure of dining at the Hinds Head in Bray. While the food was enjoyable, the service truly made the experience. Liv was incredibly attentive throughout the meal, ensuring we had everything we needed. Felix was also a standout with his friendly and welcoming demeanor. And let's not forget Ethan, who also contributed to a fantastic dining experience.

Had a wonderful meal with friends. Butternut squash soup and chicken liver parfait were exceptional, steak hit the mark spot on, deserts were quirky and fun. Service was warm and friendly on a chilly winter’s evening.

That fish!

From start to finish our server Sandy was incredible- amazing chats and laughs - the food was an experience! The flavour of that fish and the little delicate extras that you don’t even think you need, you need! And we loved!

Well done guys, we laughed through such an immaculate dining experience .

So happy I’ve finally eaten here, but if I’m honest, I’ve probably ramped it up too much in my head but it still was delicious. Out of Heston’s three restaurants, personally I’d say Dinner (in London) is the best one. Anyway… Hind’s Head: I loved the scotch egg, popcorn chicken and the ham hock terrine. The fish and chips were good too, but the triple cooked chips were a bit *too* crunchy and not enough fluff for me, and the curry sauce had a strong star anise flavour to me, but the batter was great, loved the peas, and also the chippy sauce. Overall, a really great venue I’d recommend, and yes I want to go again, I just hope I get different waiting staff next time as they were a bit cold in my opinion.
