Festive 3-Course Menu – Great Food & Service
Visited Greene Oak for a Christmas work dinner and opted for their festive 3-course menu. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

The event was well-organized with the tables set beautifully, and the service was excellent throughout the evening.

Starters: I had the onion soup and a cheese croquette. The soup was okay, but I couldn’t finish it. However, the croquette—though there was only one—was absolutely delicious.

Main: The beef shoulder with mash, veg, and braising sauce was the star of the meal. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. It paired wonderfully with the mash and sauce. My only wish? A slightly larger portion.

Dessert: The berry cheesecake was fantastic! It was well-balanced, indulgent, and I couldn’t find a single fault.

Onsite car parking was a bonus, making the whole experience even more convenient.

Would happily recommend Greene Oak for festive dining or any special occasion.

The bar staff were very welcoming. Lovely outside space. The live singer (Ed Sheeran) was fabulous. The menu looked enticing, though we did not eat.

Walking from the marina was quite hazardous due to there being no paths to walk on.

Lovely gastro pub with lots of seating areas inside and out. Plenty of parking too. Staff were friendly. The food was good...a little bland for my taste, but just added salt! Obviously thinking of people's health 😊

We had a lovely dinner, and were pleased to return for the second time as we were passing through Windsor. The food is outstanding (a true “gastro” pub), and we started with some fabulous fresh Jersey oysters (recommended!). Well worth a stop.
