Wonderful lunch today with my husband at Skindles. We had a fabulous table by the river on a glorious summer day and the whole experience was utter perfection. Cookie served us and was brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble and he was great fun whilst making sure we had everything we could possibly need. Incredible prawn cocktail and smoked salmon starters followed by a very special superfood salad and fish main course. We will be back very soon and hopefully be looked after by Cookie again!

Went a few weeks ago with my work colleagues. It was nice to get dressed up, Greeting was lovely. The waiting staff was just wonderful, they made jokes with us, it was such a relaxing feeling to the evening. The food was amazing. Drinks are also nice and they make a good Espresso Martini. My colleague all enjoyed their meals, one had the snails, she said she always has them. My other colleague and I had the cheese soufflé which was outstanding. There was also a vegan Burger, Bavette Steak and a cod which was had for mains.
We will return together again and also I will bring my family next time.

Excellent attentive service,
The steak was excellent, but the Chicken Kiev was distinctly light on the expected garlic!
The dining area was full so there was a lot of background noise, but we were still able to hold a comfortable conversation.

Absolutely the best dining experience so far. Impeccable service from the staff, warm friendly, efficient and attentive along with a real personal touch. The food served is simply better than anythin I have tasted in a long while. My fellow diners agreed. We dined on a ranged on chicken wings, snails, salmon and calamari for starters, main courses include Roast Chicken, Roast Chicken, Roast Pork and a Burger. Nothing was left on anyones plates even though the portion sizes were generous. 5 stars for everything.
